The WMSA aims to promote the study and experiential investigation of the Western Mystery tradition.

The Western Mysteries

With roots going back to Ancient Egypt via Ancient Greece, Renaissance Neoplatonism and Kabbalah, and more recent history with European Rosicrucian groups and the Victorian, British Golden Dawn order; the Western Mysteries represents the hidden story of what one Victorian writer called “the yoga of the West”. Unlike the yoga of the East, in the West anything mystical was generally covered up by or squashed by the medieval Church. However it continued in secret, protected by monks and secret societies, until now, finally it can be freely experienced by modern society.
