The Fellowship of the Golden Dawn Universum (FGDU) is an international Hermetic Order dedicated to the study and practice of the Western Mystery Tradition. Through initiation, structured training, and personal experience, the Fellowship provides a path of spiritual development, self-discovery, and inner transformation.
For many, the journey begins with a curiosity about life's bigger questions. Through guided study and personal experience, members develop greater self-awareness, insight, and understanding while exploring a tradition that has influenced the Western Mysteries for over a century.
FGDU History
A Tradition With Deep Roots
The Fellowship of the Golden Dawn continues a tradition that began with the founding of the original Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn in London in 1888 by William Wynn Westcott, Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers, and William Robert Woodman. Their synthesis of Qabalah, Hermetic philosophy, ritual, symbolism, astrology, and alchemy became one of the most influential systems within the Western Esoteric Tradition.

Founded in Los Angeles in 1989, the Fellowship was established to preserve and continue this initiatic tradition for modern students.
